This is my mom's favorite cleanser! If you prefer a foaming cleanser, or maybe want to work on some oil control, this one is gentle and has a nice foam profile. It doesn't leave skin feeling stripped, and TBH sometimes I don't double cleanse when I'm lazy--and this is one of few cleansers I've tried that still effectively removes waterproof eye makeup. Love it.
This is a great cleanser for gentle exfoliation- it's prob gentle enough to use every night, but you could also do it less often if you prefer. The physical exfoliant is hydrogenated castor oil beads, which are soft/round/uniform/biodegradable, so they aren't rough on skin (or the environment)- then it also contains some fermented enzymes that gently promote exfoliation with less irritation potential than alphahydroxy acids. It's a great product.
I use this every morning as my first step (if you wash your face in the AM, just use this after)- it has 2% salicylic acid to help with blemishes, and also contains a lime extract blend that's a natural source of AHAs for a little bit additional exfoliation. It's also super gentle bc the lime AHAs were shown to have lower irritation potential than standard AHAs, and the salicylic acid is encapsulated.
Of their exfoliating products, this is my favorite. Mandelic acid is an AHA that can promote exfoliation to reduce the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, but it has a larger molecular weight, so it's gentler than glycolic and lactic. Also, it has improved benefits compared to other AHAs when it comes to helping with blemishes, since Mandelic is slightly oil soluble. I use this in the mornings right after my BHA toner, maybe 3-4x a week. You could use every day if your skin can tolerate it. Just be diligent with sunscreen since AHAs can increase photosensitivity.
Sunday Riley good genes DOOOOOP?! Ok it's not a dupe- but it's pretty similar. Both are creamy emulsion serums that contain 5% lactic acid. I prefer their Mandelic serum (it's watery, and I like Mandelic acid better in general for my sensitive, acne-prone skin) but some people prefer lactic. If you have gotten great results with lactic acid in the past, this is a great one to try for helping reduce the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles and pigmentation. Lactic acid is also just great for a more radiant complexion. When layering with other products, I'd use this after watery serums and before moisturizer. Also be mindful that AHAs like lactic acid can increase sensitivity to the sun, so be extra diligent with sunscreen
Glycolic acid is a great ingredient to promote exfoliation and reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation/fine lines/wrinkles- on some skin types, it can be a little harsh (I'd prob recommend once a week and slowly working your way up to 3x a week max) but some people can handle it. for my sensitive skin, I prefer Mandelic acid, but if you've gotten good results with glycolic in the past, this is a great product to try. I'd recommend using after toners/essences and before moisturizer.
This is great for people with really sensitive skin who want to address texture, redness, or oil control. Azelaic acid can gently promote exfoliation, and it's not just that it doesn't cause as much irritation as other acids--but it's actually been shown to help reduce redness. I'd recommend using after cleansers/essences and before moisturizers. You can use morning or evening.
I'm picky about vitamin C but this one has my stamp of approval... They're using a stabilized complex to ensure the product isn't breaking down before you've had a chance to use it, and that complex actually helps improve delivery into skin. I'd use it after toners/essences/exfoliants and before moisturizer. You could use both day and night if you want.
BEST SUNSCREEN FOR DRY SKIN- it's a rich moisturizer/SPF all in one. It's based on chemical filters, so even those with dark skin don't have to worry about a white cast. I love this one especially when I'm on airplanes and stuff because my skin is already dry to begin with, and it always gets so flaky when I travel!! this sunscreen takes care of that ;)
omg when I tried this sunscreen the first time, it immediately became my new favorite. It's so thin and serumy and soaks into skin instantly. I love Dew Glow when my skin is feeling dry, but this is my ultimate favorite for every day use. It gives a slightly mattified appearance when it dries down, and is not greasy whatsoever. Such a good texture. No white cast. No burning of eyes. New fave.
NIGHT ONLY: Retinal is one step closer to retinoic acid than retinol, so you can expect quicker results from this than a retinol product. this retinal serum contains a micro sponge delivery system to keep retinal stable in the formula and improve delivery in skin. I use this at night after toners/essences, if you use other watery serums like their Vitamin C, I'd use Vitamin C first but let it dry down before applying the retinal. If you're really sensitive and worried about retinal irritation, you can use this after your moisturizer and the moisturizer will kind of buffer it for slower delivery and potentially lower irritation.
This is a great serum for helping address hyperpigmentation- it's a creamy emulsion that sometimes pills for me though, so I usually use it before moisturizer at night! If you use it with their retinal, I use the retinal first and then use this over it. Order of application won't make a huge difference in efficacy, though. Just do whatever causes the least pilling. It has some really great actives to help reduce discoloration though.
OBSESSED WITH THIS MOISTURIZER FOR REDNESS AND SENSITIVE SKIN. I use this over all of my serums as an alternative to slugging at night. Just swipe a layer on, and it soaks in while I sleep. There are several ingredients in here to help reduce skin's baseline sensitivity and can help a lot with existing dry/irritated patches and redness. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
I use this for my backne and buttne hahahaha. It's thicker and more gel-like than the glow-getter body wash. You could definitely use this all over and it can help soften skin. I just feel like the glow getter body wash is more hydrating, so I use that one more often all over since my skin gets dry.
We get ingrown hairs a lot, so we love her. This scrub is perfect for the bikini line and underarms- I don't use right after I shave though, because it could sting. I just generally like to use this every time I shower and before I shave and it really helps with ingrowns. Also good for ppl with KP. If you have really bad KP, I recommend using this and then using their Mandelic 12% serum on whatever areas are bothering you. Could help.
