this is applied on wet hair on your roots before you shampoo. do not rinse after applying and just go straight into shampooing. this helps your scalp not to be stripped of its natural oils leading to overly dry/oily scalp. this also helps keep your hair detangled leading to less breakage from having to brush your hair less when wet.
