Gita Bass

Gita Bass is a New York-based makeup artist. An Australian native, Bass worked extensively throughout Europe before settling in New York City. Today, her celebrity clientele includes Olivia Wilde, Tina Fey, Elizabeth Olsen, Julianne Moore, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Laura Dern. Gita has contributed to top publications such as W, Vanity Fair, ELLE, Rolling Stone, Interview, and Harper’s Bazaar; and collaborated with high-profile photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz, Antoine Verglas, Marc Baptiste, and Mark Seliger. Bass has worked on major advertising campaigns for Garnier, Clairol, Nike, American Express, Tommy Hilfiger and Kate Spade.
