This past week, ShopMy had the honor of being at the center of New York Fashion Week, surrounded by remarkable brands and wonderful creators. From dazzling billboards to intimate events, we spent the week celebrating creativity, fostering connections, and showcasing the incredible talent within our community.
Billboards + Wild Postings
Our Fashion Week kickoff was more than just an advertising campaign; it was a bold statement about the power of authentic creator voices in fashion. By transforming SoHo into a canvas for our diverse ShopMy community, we aimed to bridge the gap between digital influence and real-world impact. This wasn't just about showcasing faces; it was about celebrating the unique voices that shape modern style narratives. Each billboard and wild posting served as a testament to our belief that true fashion influence comes from genuine, relatable content creators. By connecting the physical and digital realms through custom QR codes, we invited the public to engage directly with these influencers, reinforcing our mission to make creator-driven fashion accessible to all. This campaign embodies ShopMy's commitment to empowering creators and revolutionizing how brands and consumers interact in the fashion landscape.
Social Club Happy Hour
We continued the excitement with a chic rooftop happy hour at an exclusive members club in Noho. True to ShopMy’s mission, this event focused on fostering connections and offering our creators a unique chance to meet their favorite brand partners face-to-face. Attendees mingled over signature cocktails and had the opportunity to flaunt their Fashion Week fits during a photo session with the renowned photographer Tyler Joe
The Love List Dinner + Trunk Show
On Thursday, fashion Substacker Jess Graves curated a trunk show spotlighting independent, female-led jewelry and accessory brands such as Chava Studio, Esha Soni, and Gigi Burris. This exclusive event united Jess’s vibrant community with some of ShopMy’s most influential creators. Prior to the trunk show, Jess and ShopMy Co-Founder Tiffany Lopinsky hosted an intimate dinner at Rafs, where guests—including participating designers, media representatives, and creators—enjoyed a sophisticated evening of networking and celebration.
AREA FW24 NYFW Runway Show
ShopMy creators and team members had the privilege of attending the AREA FW24 NYFW Runway Show on Friday. The collection was incredible, perfectly capturing AREA's dedication to creativity, craftsmanship, and unconventional beauty. For this event, we leveraged ShopMy Opportunities to invite creators and used Lookbooks to style them, ensuring a seamless and impactful collaboration. As AREA's exclusive affiliate platform, ShopMy is thrilled to support their creator program and contribute to its growth and success.
Vogue Business: Understanding the New Creator Economy
We closed out Fashion Week with a panel hosted by ShopMy in collaboration with Vogue Business, focusing on understanding the new creator economy. Moderated by Vogue Business Americas Editor Hilary Milnes, the discussion featured ShopMy co-founder Tiffany Lopinsky, creator Grace Atwood, Dorsey Founder and CEO Meg Strachan and Hill House Home Founder and CEO Nell Diamond. The panel explored how fashion and beauty brands can leverage new creator tools to maintain authenticity and maximize impact. The panel-style conversation was followed by networking and cocktails. When asked about the future of the creator economy Tiffany Lopinsky, ShopMy’s Co-Founder and CEO said,
Already, we’ve begun to witness this shift throughout Fashion Week. What once were exclusive shows, reserved only for fashion’s elite, are now evolving to embrace a more inclusive atmosphere. The barriers are coming down as these high-profile events increasingly open their doors to creators, influencers, and dedicated brand enthusiasts. This transformation is not only broadening the audience but also infusing the runway with fresh perspectives and diverse voices, reflecting a more democratized approach to fashion. ShopMy remains committed to being on the forefront of this change, bridging the gap between creators and brands and fostering seamless collaboration and community building.
