Here is a growing collections of items I think that make great host gifts. My theory when it comes to host gifts is get something the person will appreciate, is needed, and won’t creat clutter. I try to stay away from items that require care (like plants) and items that require personal preference (like scented candles). When in doubt, food (breakfast, snack-y, etc.) or alcohol (if they drink).
