Strategy & Operations Associate

ShopMy is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and analytical Strategy and Operations Associate to join our Strategy team. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and Operations, the successful candidate will play a critical role in driving high-impact strategic initiatives across the company. Responsibilities
  • As a Strategy and Operations Associate, you be an integral member of the team tackling high-impact, cross-functional projects throughout the company
  • You will report to the Head of Strategy and Operations
  • You will work closely with ShopMy leadership to solve core business challenges, work through ambiguity, and drive results
  • You will identify specific areas of opportunity through analysis and discovery efforts, test those hypotheses and bring forward-looking recommendations to the table
  • You will structure strategic and operational initiatives by developing work plans, aligning on key milestones and KPIs, and ensuring projects are implemented effectively and efficiently
  • You will be the end-to-end owner of projects, jumping into different areas of the company and overseeing the execution of mission critical initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in a high-growth startup/SaaS strategy & operations, management consulting or finance
  • Outstanding execution abilities and a can-do mindset: you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into the details to solve a problem
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with a track record of successfully leading and running cross-functional projects
  • A strong orientation towards being a self-starter, taking initiative, owning your work, and driving towards outcomes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • A willingness to adapt, hack and embrace a test-and-learn mentality
  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Google suite; knowledge of SQL is a plus
