Get The Look: Kristin Cavallari’s 2020 Golden Globes look
"For Kristin Cavallari’s Golden Globes look, we wanted to channel early 2000’s inspiration for the dress while keeping her glam modern and minimal.
I wanted KC’s eyes to be a soft hue of pinks, mimicking the look of watercolors. I started off by using the Boss Babe Dolly Eyeshadow Palette to keep her eyes light with a hint of mauve. Using a fluffy brush, sweep the A-List shade in the crease to contour the eyes. I also swept the light pink shade underneath the lash line.
Using another fluffy brush, pat the shades Drippin' and Last Call on the eyelid to keep the eyelids light and frosty. This channeled a modern early 2000’s vibe. Using a flat shader brush, lightly dust the shade Silk Sheets underneath the brow bone for a subtle highlight.
For extra volume, lift, curl, and length, I used Buxom's Xtrovert Mascara to add a dramatic element to the eyes. Apply two coats to the top and bottom lashes for an extremely extra look.
To keep the face fresh and glowing, take the shade Luna from the Divine Goddess Luminizing Highlighter Palette. Warm up the product on the back of your hand, then use the pads of your fingers to tap down the bridge of nose, temples and tops of cheeks for a soft golden glow that keeps the skin looking hydrated.
To keep the cheeks neutral, I used the Wanderlust Primer Infused Blush in the shade Seychelles. Start by applying the blush on the apples of the cheeks in circular motions. This is a must-have blush for me on the carpet because it has an all-day wear and never fades away.
To prep KC’s lips, I used Buxom’s Power-Full Lip Scrub to buff away dry skin patches. Using a lip scrub has become a red carpet ritual to make sure the lip application stays smooth. To line the lips, I used the Plumpline Lip Liner to keep her lips light.
I also used a light layer of the Pillowpout Creamy Plumping Lip Powder in the center of her lips in the shade Cozy Up to keep the lips neutral. For a glossy-looking pout I used the Full-On Plumping Lip Cream in the shade White Russian to keep the look fresh and glowing. It’s the most perfect pinky nude gloss that looks good on all skin tones."
